I was right
Yup, all good :o). I haven't actually tasted it yet, but it certainly looks good! The biggest issue with having such a moist dough so far is how much harder it is to slash the top of it before baking. These won't have as nice a crust as the first loaf did as a result.
I was until recently a graduate student at Oxford, looking at heat transfer to turbine blades in jet engines. Following a brief stint in the fast world of Formula One, I'm back at my old lab looking at... heat transfer to turbine discs in jet engines. It's almost as if the last two years never happened! I drink rather a lot of tea and juggle badly... often while swearing at my computer. And they say men can't multitask.
I'm under no illusions that anyone actually reads my blogs, but frankly I don't care...
